Outdoor Growing

The outdoor growing season has finally arrived along with all of the benefits it brings: free light, water, air circulation and room to stretch.  But with it is a myriad of obstacles standing in the way with a beautiful harvest ranging from inclement weather to legal guidelines and restrictions.

Join us for this special meetup where Dan Ruta will share his knowledge for free.  We’ll kick off the night with a presentation on how to get the most out of your outdoor gardening, from keeping away pesky predators in your yard to knowing the best time to seed and transplant. Dan will help provide information on how to make use of items around your house and apply them to benefit your garden.

By the end of the evening, you’ll have a solid understanding of how to manage raised beds, trellis systems, seeding land, plant predator management, care and timing for historically common New England veggies and herbs as well as some new ones being grown this Summer. The warm seasons here and New England is a great area to grow all kinds of beneficial plants! Let’s get growing!
